<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">I am really not a health buff, and I was never really conscious with the food I eat. A daily non-exercise regimen while I try to <strong><a rel="nofollow" href="http://sugarcoatedworld.blogspot.com/2009/03/marathon-blogging-is-it-worth-it.html" title="Marathon blogging" target="_blank">flatten my ass in front my PC</a></strong> everyday, would make you want to ask – why am I posting a <a href="http://thestrugglingblogger.com/2009/03/avoid-red-meat-be-healthy/" title="Avoid red meat!" target="_blank"><strong>topic on health</strong></a>?</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">But when I read about the <strong><a rel="nofollow" href="http://edition.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/03/23/healthmag.red.meat.lifespan/" title="Want to live longer? Cut back on red meat!" target="_blank">dangers of red meat</a></strong>, I am reminded, not just because I consume red meat almost everyday, but the fact that whatever I eat, my children also eat.<br />
<span id="more-342"></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">Believe me, when you read the results of the study, it is really alarming. I am not about to start being health conscious, then again, my kids should have a better choice. And I guess, now I do too – <strong>start learning how to cook real food.</strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">Those who knows the predicament that I and my kids are in now, would understand why burger patties, hotdogs, tocino, longganisa, and other easy-to-fry foods are my choices. Nobody is complaining, not my kids. They will eat whatever is set on the table.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">I always wanted to cook real food, in fact I have made some attempts in the past. And I can say that they’re decent enough to be called food. Still, the ‘easier to cook’ food are the more popular choice.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"><strong><a rel="nofollow" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_meat" target="_blank">Red meat</a></strong> is protein, it is also nutritious. Well, anything in excess is not really good. So daily intake of red meat I guess would qualify for that excess.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">I hope this time I can stick to this resolution, that I will learn to cook real food. Just because my children doesn’t have to be have a better choice.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">Of course, you will know when I am already cooking… that will be the time I have a cooking and recipe blog.</p>
