<p>Blog-hopping, it is not uncommon that you will find interesting <a href="http://thestrugglingblogger.com/2010/05/interesting-blogs/" >blog of notes</a> that you would want to bookmark, go back to, and keep up with the succeeding posts.</p>
<p><a href="http://thestrugglingblogger.com/2010/05/interesting-blogs/" >Interesting blogs</a> that really capture your attention and you feel that you want to share it for other bloggers to see&#8230; not that they need it, because I&#8217;m sure these blogs I&#8217;ll mention will eventually find their way to you one way or another.</p>
<p>Still, I want to give them a special space in my blog&#8230; somewhat a tradition  that I started last year for my birthday month. And now, I&#8217;d like to share to you these three interesting blogs.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone" title="Wag na lang!" src="http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb140/mcroyver/blog%20pictures/Wagnalang.jpg" alt="" width="479" height="115" /><br />
<a rel="nofollow" href="http://wagnalang.wordpress.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Wag na lang!</strong></a><br />
A blog that is run by <a rel="nofollow" href="http://wagnalang.wordpress.com/about/" target="_blank">King del Rosario</a> who describes his blog as</p>
<blockquote><p>Wag na lang is a contraction(?) of a popular Filipino remark “Huwag na lang” which means either “No thanks” or “Don’t bother” in English. My translation sucks, but you get the point. Hehehe.</p></blockquote>
<p>His blog features the humorous side (with messages in between) of life, through pictures. I believe, some were made by him, and the others he gets elsewhere.</p>
<p>But it is his captions (his two-cents) that make the pictures even more interesting.<br />
<span id="more-1082"></span></p>
<p><!-- adman --></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter" title="Your My Love Poems" src="http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb140/mcroyver/blog%20pictures/YourMyLovePoems.jpg" alt="" width="502" height="105" /></p>
<p><a href="http://yourmylovepoems.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Your My Love Poems</strong></a><br />
On the blog title alone, you can tell that this blog is about love and poetry.</p>
<p>Although <a href="http://yourmylovepoems.com/category/about" target="_blank">Paige</a>&#8217;s blog posts are not really limted to poetry as of late, as she writes  and give advice about relationships &#8212; sensible, practical, and realistic.</p>
<p>If you are looking for a good read about love and relationship, Paige&#8217;s page should be your direction.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter" title="Robot President" src="http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb140/mcroyver/blog%20pictures/RobotPresident.jpg" alt="" width="527" height="109" /><br />
<a rel="nofollow" href="http://robotpresident.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Robot President</strong></a><br />
This blog is not about robots nor the presidents, nor politics. Although I won&#8217;t be surprised if <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.blogger.com/profile/16554039332754321571" target="_blank">Arvil</a> would post those topics in his blog just to prove me wrong.</p>
<p>Written in straight and beautiful <strong>Tagalog</strong>, this blog contains deep thoughts and Arvil&#8217;s observation of the things that happen around him.</p>
<p>If you want to get your dose of pure Filipino writing, written in the most honest form like only Arvil can, visit his <a rel="nofollow" href="http://robotpresident.blogspot.com/2010/04/bakit-robot-president.html" target="_blank">Robot President</a>.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m sure you noticed, I haven&#8217;t written much about them&#8230; just a teaser of sort.  Truth to tell, I&#8217;m just starting to explore these blogs, yet I have already been &#8216;captured&#8217; by their entries that I feel I need to make a post about them so that you may know of them  too.</p>
<p>Needless to say, these blogs are currently in my shortlist for the <a href="http://thestrugglingblogger.com/2010/03/emerging-influential-blogs-of-2010/" target="_blank">Emerging Influential Blogs of 2010</a>, nothing&#8217;s final yet. But definitely, they are among those being considered.</p>
<p>I suggest, you visit them to see why they are in my shortlist.<br />

<p><strong>January 9, 2010</strong>, my Angel turns 12. We were supposed to watch <strong>Sherlock Holmes</strong> but was pre-empted by a more important event – the <em>despedida</em> party of the <strong>doctor of poetry</strong>. And my <a rel="nofollow" href="http://reflectionsbyroy.blogspot.com/2009/01/only-woman-in-my-life.html" target="_blank">Angel</a> was more than willing to give way to meet the cool bloggers once again (and I haven’t even told them yet that they can come).</p>
<p>Yes, the cool Jedi and Influenza bloggers have gone all the way to Pampanga to visit and give us the honor of celebrating <a href="http://zorlone.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Zorlone</strong></a>’s party here.<br />
<span id="more-781"></span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.jenaisleonline.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Jena Isle</strong></a> was more than excited to finally meet the great <a href="http://bloggista.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Bloggista</strong></a> and the amiable <a rel="nofollow" href="http://yatotchronicles.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Yatot</strong></a>. Unfortunately, boy-next-door <a href="http://kelvinonian.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Kelvin</strong></a>, professional singer <a href="http://reyjr.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Rey</strong></a>, and the hard-hitting with his one-two punch commentaries <a href="http://pinoysoundingboard.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Elmot</strong></a> were not able to come… <strong>and they missed a lot</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-782" src="http://thestrugglingblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/PICT0061-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="348" /></p>
<p>Completing the list are: the influential blogger from Mindoro <a href="http://www.writingtoexhale.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Jan</strong></a>, the wandering blogger <strong><a href="http://agiledeals.com/" target="_blank">Bonnie</a></strong>, the blogger from Cebu, <a href="http://blogcebuworld.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Novz</strong></a>, and the lady programmer from Baguio, <a href="http://www.theladyprogrammer.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Gem</strong></a>.</p>
<p>Special guests are: my friend <a href="http://www.punkypaige.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Paige</strong></a> (Bloggista beats me in inviting her, and she was just within the neighborhood), the <strong>third year med tech students</strong> (the next batch of CC Bloggers), and of course, my kids and Jena’s family. The <a rel="nofollow" href="http://wwwclinchemexplorer.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"><strong>CC Bloggers</strong></a> weren’t able to make it because they were already busy with their internship, but <strong>Dia</strong> and <strong>Eugene</strong> managed to drop by, to the delight of Doc Z.</p>
<p>Bloggista also brought his friend <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.facebook.com/#/profile.php?v=info&amp;id=1453622486" target="_blank"><strong>Jeff </strong></a>along, who played a very important role in the event, as I found out later.</p>
<p>The place was Villa Alfredo’s resort in San Fernando, Pampanga.</p>
<p>It didn’t take long for the gang to warm up, even though some of these people have just met for the first time.</p>
<p>The food? <strong><em>Sisig</em></strong> of course won’t be out of the menu. Along with <strong><em>Kare-kare</em></strong>, <strong><em>inihaw na tilapia</em></strong> and <strong><em>bangus</em></strong> and <strong><em>chicken barbeque</em></strong>. The Jedi and Influenza bloggers even brought <strong>cake for Angel’s birthday!</strong></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-783" title="food!" src="http://thestrugglingblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/PICT0026-300x225.jpg" alt="food!" width="476" height="355" /></p>
<p>Non-stop videoke ensued.</p>
<p>Yours truly, even without the spirit of San Mig Light in me, have sung to my heart’s content. Bloggista was a rocker, Novz was a Beatlemaniac, Yatot was a total performer (unfortunately, nobody was able to video his doble-kara performance of Endless Love), and Doc Z of course, was a crooner, singing one love song after another.</p>
<p><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-784" title="Bloggista and The Lady Programmer" src="http://thestrugglingblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/PICT0093-300x225.jpg" alt="Bloggista and The Lady Programmer" width="262" height="196" />But the revelation of the night, was the belter in Gem. Singing all those high notes with much gusto. She even sang a duet with Bloggista.</p>
<p>Bonnie was busy taking pictures to sing, Jan and Paige didn’t sing (but I swear I can hear them sing along every time somebody is singing), and Jena I think, became mike-shy after hearing Gem sing.</p>
<p>Singing was only allowed until 12 midnight. The management of Alfredo’s had to ask us to stop singing, otherwise, we could have done so until morning.<br />
But Bloggista was too hyped to just sleep after the singing. So we went out, upon his invitation, and went to Lola Parings in Marisol to eat steak, and proceeded to Coffee Academy (a local coffee shop) afterwards for coffee.</p>
<p>After which, we went back to the resort to finally call it a day. <strong>NOT!</strong></p>
<p>Bloggista wants some more. So after taking the girls back to the resort, the boys (minus Yatot and Jan), went out again for “<em>more coffee</em>.” I told you earlier that Jeff has a very important role, and this is where I found out. Jeff knows more of Angeles City than I do.</p>
<p>In fact, because of him, I discovered that <em>they also serve coffee in places where I never even thought they serve coffee </em>in Angeles City!</p>
<p>Seriously, we all just went for coffee, and then decided to finally call it a day (after all, it was already 5 a.m.).</p>
<p>After having a (very) short rest, a few more stories and picture taking, the gang finally decided to go on their way, as we also packed and went back to Angeles City.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-785" title="Bloggers" src="http://thestrugglingblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/PICT0198-300x225.jpg" alt="Bloggers" width="461" height="343" /></p>
<p>It was an enjoyable overnight party. Thank you <strong>Bloggista</strong>, <strong>Yatot</strong>, <strong>Zorlone</strong>, <strong>Jan</strong>, <strong>Bonnie</strong>, <strong>Novz</strong>, <strong>Jeff</strong>, <strong>Jena</strong>, <strong>Gem</strong> and <strong>Paige</strong>.</p>
<p>Thank you guys. Hopefully, we can do this again someday.</p>
<p>(Note: More pictures will be uploded in my FB account)</p>
