This blogger is attending WordCamp Philippines 2010
I first mentioned about the WordCamp Philippines 2010 when I posted the different blogging events for 2010 that I knew of. I also mentioned how I really would like to attend this event.
Guess what, it almost missed me. Good thing, I followed a post by Jonel Uy which eventually led me to the registration page of WordCamp 
Philippines. There I saw that there are only 20 slots available! Yes, this event is limited to 200 participants only!
I also learned that there is a registration fee of $12 payable via PayPal or P500 which can be paid via bank deposit. I paused for a moment – $12?!
Still thinking if I am willing to pay the $12 for the WordCamp or not, I did not register immediately.
The next day (that was today), I went back to the registration page and saw “3 slots available.” Without second thoughts, I clicked the Register button, filled-up the online registration form and choose Paypal as my payment option. Made the Paypal immediately to ensure that I get a slot, and that’s it. I am officially registered, and The Struggling Blogger is going to the WordCamp Philippines 2010.
So, what’s the big deal really about WordCamp Philippines? Honestly, I don’t know, and that what makes it even more exciting! I am not setting any expectations, and therefore, everything will be a new learning experience for me.
This is one blogging event that I have been looking forward to attend to since the first time I have heard of it. I don’t know if some of my friends were able to register too. Sorry, I was not able to make the announcement earlier. I did not get a notice from the FB group page of WordCamp. It would be nice to attend the event with friends.
If none were able to register, as they were all so busy, then there is always the “post-WordCamp” event where friends like Bloggista will “cook up something.” Right B?
Anyway, here’s looking forward to my first WordCamp Philippines, and excited to meet more new friends there.
The WordCamp Philippines 2010 will be held on October 2, 2010 at the College of Saint Benilde in Taft Avenue, Manila.

oo nga Amor e. eksakto lang akong nakahabol. 3 slots na lang nung nagregister ako. limited lang pala participants sa WordCamp, ngayon ko lang nalaman
