Burn out!!!!!
Can I rant?
No, let me change that, it will be too much of me to rant with all the blessings I have received. Besides, I would like to keep this blog positive as much as possible.
So, let me just blabber away as I utter some gibberish thoughts and see if we can make heads or tails. If you don’t have the time, it’s okay. Well, you do?! Great! Now, why don’t you grab a chair and make yourself comfortable.
By the way, I believe the coffee is still hot. Help yourself. Sorry though, no cream served here. Like I always say, “coffee is meant to be black.”
Anyway, see the title of this post? It says “Burn out!!!!!”
Yes, I know you can read. I didn’t mean to insult you, but it’s just how the conversation goes. You know, ask the questions and then answer them yourself.
Let’s continue, shall we?
In my FB status yesterday I said I haven’t written anything for the last four days, mentioning some of the probable causes — writer’s block, procrastination, burn out and the last one being the deadline for the filing of income tax.
That deadline was today. And I beat it! Hah! Now, I can go back to my regular programming… err, I mean writing.
I used to blame writer’s block, but I found that it can easily be beaten. So that leaves me with procrastination and burn out. I guess, I’ll choose burn out as the reason for not writing (I can always choose procrastination later).
Because of the deadline for income tax filing, I was literally cramming these past few days, trying to finish all backlogs to be able to beat the deadline. I exhausted myself, that was why at night, I could not even compose a simple paragraph, but instead went to bed early.
Now, with the nagging deadline out of the way, I really hope I can call my muses back.
Hmm… I think I’m getting serious. Let’s go back to gibberish.
By the way, do you know what I discovered about the invisibility cloak used in Harry Potter movies? They can’t find it!
I don’t think I am amusing my muses with this. Even in being gibberish, I’ve become a little bit rusty.
I really hope the effect of this burn out will fade soon. I’m beginning to annoy myself with these nonsensicals.
Oh well, you can only throw so much punches. Let me just take a breather and maybe… just maybe, tomorrow I’ll come back fresh… and with sense.

“I can always choose procrastination later.” LOL
I’d be too predictable to say it felt as though this post were addressed to me. I’d not contest it. It’s just a feeling after all.
In fact, I deserve a far stringent shout-out. An indictment perhaps for dereliction of duty. That’s not phrased as a question. Because I’m guilty as sin.
