The Struggling Blogger

If I write, will you read? If I beg, will you feed?

Big waste of talents

If I will have a magic brush that would make everything I paint come to life, I would paint beautiful flowers, happy family, and a peaceful community.

If I have a pen that allows me to write stories that will actually happen in real life, I would write stories of joys, reunions, triumphs and happy endings.

What I’m trying to say here is that, if ever there is something in my control that would help me make changes, not only in my life but also in others, I would definitely use it to accomplish something positive.

Whatever it is that I have, I would try to put it to good use.

Sadly, not everyone uses their talent – God-given talents, for something positive.

I am a victim of hacking. As of this writing, my blogs doesn’t load from my end. Every time I try to load my blogs, I would always be redirected.

I got about 5 of my blogs which were hacked, and these were the blogs with PR2 and higher. Maybe I’m still lucky that this blog was demoted to PR1, lest it could also be a target.

I’m just glad it wasn’t included and I was able to host the virtual book tour of A Puppy, Not a Guppy.

But the question in my mind right now is WHY?!

Why these people do hacked blogs? Is it just because they can? Why are they using their knowledge in destroying other people’s lives.

Yes, I used the word ‘destroy’ and you may think it’s too heavy a word to use for hackers, those low-life hackers, but to say that I am depressed right now would be an understatement.

My blogs mean a lot to me, and it really brings me down that I, and my blogs,  have to go through this… because honestly, there’s nothing I can do.

I feel sorry that your blogs were hacked. As a blogger myself,I keep my blog close to my heart. It is like a part of my identity.

I think if you post your problem in any blogger forum, you will get a solution of how to prevent it.

Their day will come, Roy, don’t worry. What goes around, comes around. Just don’t allow them to dampen your spirit. Remember , you’re indomitable, right? he he he…Iyon ang gusto nila- (that’s what they want) for you to get discouraged and depressed. Don’t give them that satisfaction. Be the winner.

    Hi Jena!

I’m trying hard to live up to that ‘indomitable’ tag, although I have admit that when someone, or something, close to my heart gets affected, it always gets me down.

Still hoping for positive things to happen.

    Thanks!

Thanks Coolbuster! It’s started last Wednesday (or Thursday), my blog Sugar Coated World would load for a second or two, and then it would turn blank.

The next day, I learned that some of my blogs were acting the same way too – More Than Just Copy-Paste, the original The Struggling Blogger blog, Roysville, and Womenagerie.

I checked the html’s but I can find any suspicious looking script :(

This blog may not be hacked, but the comments are still behaving weirdly. I’m glad this one, at least, was spared! I feel like I’m letting you down – I’ve been scratching my head, trying to figure out what’s going on with your blogs. Why you’ve been targeted – and on so many blogs – I don’t know. But the people who do this, you’re right – it’s such a waste of talent and brains. There are so many productive things they could do with it, but instead they choose to wallow in mean spirited pranks – to what end? Have you talked to your web host? They may be able to provide a clue.
