If I write, will you read? If I beg, will you feed?

Top 10 Emerging Influential Blog of 2009 writing project

I’m sure by now you have already heard about the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs of 2009 writing project. Not yet? Then read on, this a good chance for you to find out about it, as I write, promote, and campaign — all in one post.

This writing project, running on its third year now, is spearheaded by Janette Toral, the author of the book Blogging from Home, and admin of the blog with the same name. She is also the founder of DigitalFilipino.com and the creator of its online community.

The Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs of 2009 writing project was launched right after the successful iBlog5. It aims to give credit to new blogs who are making a splash, or even waves in their first year of existence in the blogosphere.

Anybody can join, nominate their list of Top 10, or be nominated too (as long as they qualify). Only one entry per blogger is allowed though, since I already posted my list of nominees in my other blog, I can’t post another list here.

To enter your list of Top 10, you should write a post in your blog with your top picks. You can only nominate blogs who are: started anytime from May 1, 2008 to the present; blog owner profile and e-mail is accessible; and archive can be easily seen on homepage.

After posting, go to the official contest link and post your comment together with the link to your entry. Don’t forget to include links to the sponsors in your post: Absolute Traders, My Brute Cheats, and Business Summaries.

Don’t vote for this blog
Yes, you read that right. I ask you not to vote for this blog.

If you believe that I really deserve such an honor, please, vote for my other blog – the original struggling blogger, I would appreciate it very much.

There are 10 slots anyway. What’s a single slot to show gratitude for your source of information. ;)

You want to be nominated too
Of course you do. And you think you deserve it. Then go blog hopping and get to know more bloggers by visiting their blogs and commenting in their posts.

But don’t just write anything. Let Jan tell you how to write comments to get the right impression. By the way, he is opening his last slot in his list of nominees, you might want to take a shot at it.

Other blogs that you might want to check out, as they still don’t have a complete list yet are: Exodians, Ada, Jena Isle, Fritz, and Kelvin. There are other blogs too who have incomplete list.

Go check their blogs. Comment on their post. Get yourself noticed. Heck! Ask for it! They might even thank you that they won’t have to blog hop to complete their list.

Now, what are you waiting for? Go back to your blog and write your own top ten list!

Just don’t forget the struggling blogger ;)

Good luck!

    Roy, I think Doc Z is playing it safe. Going around town to check lists. At this point Doc Z has a hard time completing his list of nominees. But! If he does not post soon there might be a little problem.

    What if 25 people list Doc Z as their nominee and Doc Z has yet to post his? Think of the even greater pressure that will bear down on Doc Z. Ahahaha, Watch out – baka magtago si Doc sa ilalim ng mesa nya sa clinic to escape those who’d expect to get favors. lol

    Doc Z, post ka na. Ahahaha.

    @Doc Z
    why weekend? can’t you do it NOW? :)

    @Kelvin
    No problem, people should know where to find some votes… just don’t forget the suggestion on this blog ;)

    @Jan
    well, just like what I told Kelvin, bloggers should know where to go for votes. and there’s only one slot in your list, that’s why you’re a special mention :)

    hahaha… I guess, Doc Z really has a lot of name in his list. That’s why it’s taking him so long to post it
