Susan Boyle Got Talents!
She’s 47 year’s old, she’s single and as she have said she has “never been kissed” and lives alone with her cat. When she entered the stage, you can see people laughing a bit as Simon Cowell was talking to her.
But as she started to sing, everybody became quiet as she has proven that Susan Boyle got talents!
And if you watch the video on the YouTube, you can see clearly how people are reacting before she started to sing. You can see cynicism and skepticism on their face… as the Yahoo! buzz puts it “everybody was expecting a female William Hung.”
But as she sang “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Miserables, cynics and skeptics were all quiet, mesmerized and just a few seconds in her song, almost everybody gave her a standing ovation, even the two co-judges of Simon Cowell in Britain’s Got Talent.
Cowell didn’t stand though, he doesn’t have to. You can see his reaction in his face.

The NY Daily News tagged as the most unlikely reality TV star ever, as she is now known all over, with her video on YouTube getting more than 2.6 million hits… and still counting.
What’s more heartwarming is the comment of the female judge (sorry, I didn’t get her name) was that she admitted being cynical, just like the rest of audience, and Boyle’s performance made her realize that she should not look at a person’s physical appearance to judge her.
She got three yes’s from judges, with one of the judge even saying that it’s the biggest yes he ever give.
I’m sure, we’ll hear more of Susan Boyle as her star is just starting to shine.

It just goes to show you that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover and you can’t judge a person their appearance and age. Hollywood had perpetuated the idea that the beautiful people are the only ones who have talent. There are many, many ordinary people who have more talent than most of the Hollywood crowd, but can’t get a chance because they don’t have the look. I’m glad shows like this are giving ordinary people a chance to show that you don’t have to be beautiful or rich to use the talent God gave you. I love the look on Simon’s face when Susan was singing. I will never forget that. This made my dad.

Yes, when we watch the Italian news (Im in NL but it’s always the Italian TV we follow) she was featured. She’s amazing and I admire her being so confident and all. I heard she was already rejected before in a contest…well, u know how people are..
I saw the focus when she was entering the stage, then when she was asked how old she was… and then the after reaction.. Gosh, she got a standing ovation!
