The Struggling Blogger

If I write, will you read? If I beg, will you feed?

The Struggling Blogger – dot com version

The Struggling BloggerSo here we are… in our new home. Yes, The Struggling Blogger now has his own home in the dot com domain. What can we expect from this? What will happen to the old home? What are the plans of The Struggling Blogger?

First up, the old home, The Struggling Blogger at 168center.com will stay as it is. I just cannot leave a good friend behind. The original blog has helped me learn a lot as a blogger. It has been with me since I was struggling as a blogger.

That is why it will stay… continuing as it is, as I continue with my struggles… in life… in the blogosphere.

Now, let us focus on this new home. How will this differ, I really can’t tell right now. I have quite a number of blogs, all of whom have developed their own personalities as I proceeded in my blogging. And most even developed into a niche which is very far from my purpose when I first created them.

With that in mind, I will not pin a single identity for this blog now… I’ll just let it take its own course. But what I can say is what I might post in this blog.

For one, with this blog, I hope to see myself more as a writer. Which means I might post short stories, movie reviews. I might post reactions too to current news, local and international, new technology, and other trivial things. This blog will see a more opinionated me… more outspoken perhaps.

The list could go on.

But before I forgot, I will include in this post my expression of gratitude to the following people:

Jessie for sponsoring my web hosting for one year
Amor for designing personalized WordPress Theme for me (although I haven’t uploaded it yet)
Roel for sponsoring my domain name for one year

And of course, my appreciation too for these great friends who helped win in Jessie’s Free Web Hosting contest:

Eric of Blog de Manila
Jena Isle of Random Thoughts
Snow of Dear Bloggery
Tasha of Tasha’s Take
Eric of Ruminations of Small Town Mountain Boy

Right now I am still on the set-up phase. Hopefully, by next week I have already uploaded the blog theme Amor has made for me and by then, this blog will be already set and raring to go.

So I am sending my invitation (plea, if you may), for you join me in this yet another new adventure in the blogosphere.

I am The Struggling Blogger… and this is my new story.
