All eyes on the Obama Inauguration
Easily the most famous president of America so far, Barack Obama will step into the door of history when he takes his oath as the 44th President of the United States during the Presidential Inauguration tomorrow.
Never has it been that such an attention, interest and worldwide curiosity given to a presidential candidate when Obama made his bid to be the most powerful person in the world.
An attention that helped him a lot in winning the said position. And technology, particularly the internet, has helped a lot in his campaign.
The promise of change… a battlecry that has helped him gain the sympathy of most people all over the globe.
After winning the election, the attention didn’t fade away from them… from his daughter’s dogs, their school, and even the dress that his wife Michelle will wear tomorrow in the inauguration, has been the focus of immense interest.
And as his inauguration drew nearer, daily news updates, and developments have been reported on major websites. You can follow them in CNN and in the Washington Post.
For the complete list of these ‘trails’ leading to the inauguration, you can check them at Reyna Elena’s post. For Online Inauguration live feed, you can visit my friend’s Bloggista’s post.
And as the hour to his inauguration winds down… as Barack Obama takes his bow to officially become the president of America, I don’t think the attention on him will cease.
His journey is just starting… and I’m sure just as the world watched him during his campaigns, as he wins the election, and finally to his inauguration… they will watch him more as he performs his duties and implements his plans as the 44th President of America.
Watching… waiting… for the delivery of that “promise of change.”
